Following the wonderful success of the 1st Annual Orienteering Schools League which was held at various schools in the Lebopo Circuit, between February and April 2017, Polokwane Orienteering Club would like to invite interested schools for the 2nd Annual Orienteering Schools League at the University Of Limpopo between April-May 2019.

POC received an invitation from SAOF to attend the annual Gauteng O Championships which was held in the North West Province from the 15th – 17th June 2018.
Day one (1) proved to be an easy one, since most of the members of the POC squad clocked with good and impressive times with 2% complain.

Five (5) members from POC which were nominated and selected for the weekend of 16-18 March 2018 for HP Training Camp are Ephraim Chuene, Tebatso Ramodik, Khutšišo Matlakala, Thato Phogole and Lesedi Chuene

Limpopo Participation (768)
Polokwane Orienteering Club was overseeing the participation in Limpopo since it was an opportunity to attract people and also to bring awareness of the sport. Limpopo had over five participating areas.

The POC had in their midst athletes from all over Polokwane, from Lebowakgomo, Mogodi, Seleteng and outside, the competition was extremely tough, and the courses, more challenging than anything the athletes were expecting on the day.
SAOF and RCL FOODS-SUNBAKE contribution in POC’s third event of the year, over the weekend of the 22nd April 2017, just serves as a clear indication of their outstanding backing and patronage of POC, and duly underscores the aforementioned credits.

Following the success of the Polokwane Orienteering Club previous event held in Ga-Rampheri, Limpopo Province, on the 18th February 2017, the pressure was on P.O.C to put together another successful ‘O’ event, this time however, in Lebowakgomo, a sub-urban township, 45 km south of Polokwane.

Many thanks to the Mukumung Sports Foundation for hosting us, and a special mention must go to Annah Lepotu (Orienteering Chairwoman at Ga-Rampheri), she did a great job. We had the best Orienteering event ever; we couldn’t have imagined it would turn out as it did.

Polokwane Orienteering Club is going to hold a special event at Ga-Rampheri, hosted by local Union:Mukumung Sports Foundation.
The gravity of this occasion is great, as Ga-Rampheri will also be graced by the presence of the Heads of Orienteering from Johannesburg and also several other athletes from Orienteering Clubs based Johannesburg.
